Accreditation & Qualifications
KAB - Korea Accreditation Board
The Korea Accreditation Board (KAB) was established in 1995 and is designated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy as an accreditation body that performs accreditation work in quality and environment management systems and qualification certification fields. The center's certifications are based on international standards and operated by independent third parties separate from the certification targets. Companies or individuals must comply with the standards required by each certification scheme, and certification bodies must observe objectivity, independence, and impartiality. Management system certification objectively proves the system conformity of an organization by a third party, and qualification certification objectively proves the conformity of an individual by a third party.
SLCP Signatory
SLCP (Social & Labor Convergence Program) is a system in which global multi-stakeholder participants use the same Converged Assessment Framework to verify labor and social conditions in factories and brands. This system is based on internationally recognized standards and operated by independent third-party verification bodies separate from certification targets. Manufacturers or brands must comply with specified requirements, and verification bodies must maintain objectivity, independence, and impartiality. SLCP is a system that objectively proves the improvement of transparency and working environment throughout the supply chain by reducing the burden of duplicate audits and sharing reliable data.
Higg Index
Higg Index is a global sustainability assessment tool operated by Worldly, developed to measure and manage environmental and social impacts across the apparel, footwear, and textile industries. This index is based on internationally accepted standards and operated through independent third-party verification separate from assessment targets. Companies must comply with the standards required by each module, and verification bodies must observe objectivity, independence, and impartiality. Higg Index is a system that can systematically measure performance at factory, brand, and product levels to objectively prove and improve sustainability throughout the supply chain.
ZDHC Incheck report Verification
The ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) program is a multi-stakeholder consultative body established for chemical management and environmental protection in the global apparel, footwear, and textile industries. Based on the 'Roadmap to Zero', this program fundamentally reduces the discharge of hazardous chemicals and promotes the use of safe chemicals throughout the supply chain. ZDHC standards and guides are operated according to internationally accepted principles and ensure reliability through independent third-party verification separate from participating companies. Brands, manufacturers, and chemical suppliers must meet the standards required by each scheme, and verification bodies must observe objectivity, independence, and impartiality. ZDHC is a system that objectively improves the environmental impact of the global textile and fashion industry by establishing a sustainable chemical management system.
Korean Forest Certification Scheme
KFCC (Korean Forest Certification Scheme) is a system that sustainably manages forests environmentally, socially, and economically and transparently proves the production and distribution of forest products, operated based on objective evaluation by third parties. There are two types: Forest Management Certification (FM) and Chain of Custody Certification (CoC), and participating organizations include forest owners, producers, distributors, etc. Certification targets must meet sustainability requirements according to criteria and indicators, and certification bodies must maintain objectivity, independence, and impartiality. KFCC certification is traceable so that timber and non-timber forest products produced from managed forests are not mixed with general forest products, and their conformity is promoted to consumers and markets through the use of certification logos.
